Work starts on site for Birmingham’s next iconic boutique hotel and cocktail bar, The Edgbaston

The Heterarchy studio in Birmingham has been appointed to design what is sure to become Birmingham’s next iconic boutique hotel and cocktail bar, The Edgbaston. Part of ‘The Village’, the masterplan by Calthorpe Estates to develop a thriving new leisure hub in the city, this new hotel will see the conversion of a beautiful Grade II Listed building on Highfield Road in Edgbaston. Featuring six luxuriously appointed en-suite rooms, with two cocktail bars to the ground floor and another in the cellar, the hotel is being masterminded by the team behind The Kenilworth, brothers Stuart and Darren Insall. Expect to see a design that’s full of opulence and atmosphere, a contemporary nod to the classic 1920’s cocktail bar hotel.

New Project Update – Bar design for Nosh, Rugby

By | Bar Design | No Comments

Following the recent completion of the bar design for Nosh in Rugby, work is due to commence on site. With sculpted croc panels on the front of the bar, simple cubic shelving to the rear and LED lighting throughout, the end result will be as effective as it affordable. The bar is due for completion by the beginning of September. Keep an eye out for photographs to be added to our project gallery once it is completed.

Energise your business with an interactive multi-touch bar.

It’s amazing! A high resolution, interactive glass bar surface that is designed to encourage customers to engage with each other and your company. The high quality images and accurate tracking capabilities, all of which can be customised to your own theme or use, react as the customer touches the surface.

The ‘iBar’ encourages companies to think about the direct relationship between design and customer engagement. Recently featured on ITVs ‘X Factor’, the durable bar can be used in a variety of environments e.g. bars, reception areas, restaurants, promotional stands and more.

The usage is completely up to you as well – you can entertain your customers whilst they buy a drink, promote a new menu or use it as a platform for an interactive game. The multi-touch interactive surface is a very clever way to enhance your customers experience and engage with you and your brand.
